A World of Sport


The Olympic Museum houses permanent and temporary exhibits relating to sport and the Olympic games movement. With more than 10,000 artifacts, the museum is the largest archive in the world. The Museums exhibitions are organized into three themes which explore the Olympic World, Olympic Games and Olympic the Spirit. 

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York serves as the central point of the history of baseball in the United States and displays baseball-related artifacts and exhibits, honoring those who have excelled in playing, managing, and serving the sport. The Hall's motto is "Preserving History, Honoring Excellence, Connecting Generations". 

The National Football Museum is England's museum of football. It is based in the Urbis building in Manchester city centre, and preserves, conserves and displays important collections of football memorabilia. The museum was originally based in Deepdale, Preston, Lancashire, but moved to Manchester in 2012.

The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum is dedicated to preserving the history of African American baseball from the late 1800s. However, racism and “Jim Crow” laws would force them from these teams by 1900, which saw Black players forming their own baseball teams.

The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum in Colorado Springs is dedicated to America’s greatest athletes and their compelling stories. The Museum’s vision is to ignite, inspire and reinforce Olympic and Paralympic aspirations through a physical, digital, and virtual experience.
